Having an ear infection causing painful earaches can create a lot of discomfort for the sufferer. The most natural thing for us to do is to swallow painkillers, however it has been proven that painkillers cause more harm than good as they are addictive and have adverse side effects when consumed.

Here are several natural ingredients that you can use to treat earaches:
- Try Using Heat
You can relieve pain in your ear just by placing a moist hot towel over it. You can also use a hot water bottle. Make sure the water is not too hot, so as not to burn the skin around your ear area.
- Use Olive Oil
You can use olive oil to treat your earaches by fighting ear infection. You should put 2 to 3 drops of olive oil in your ear canal to relieve your of earaches.
- Make Use Of Onions
You can treat your Earaches by heating onion juice slightly and then drop a couple of drops in your ear. You can also chop an onion into two and put one half of the chopped onion on your ear.
- Ginger Is Effective
Ginger has very potent anti-inflammatory properties which help to reduce any inflammation in your ear canal and soothe the pain caused by such inflammation. To use ginger, all you need to do is to use a low heat to jet up a tablespoon of ginger extract mixed in a quarter cup of sesame oil. Next, you topically apply the mixture just around the ear that is aching.

Garlic has potent antimicrobial and analgesic properties which will help to relieve from the earaches caused by an ear infection. You can make a powerful ear drop when you mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil with 1 teaspoon of garlic extract and drop the mixture in your ears.
- Make Use Of Basil
Extract the juice from the basil plant and drop a couple of the juice extract in your ears to get rid of ear infections. Basil has excellent anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
- Try Out Hydrogen Peroxide

To use this plant oil, all you need to do is to mix 3 teaspoons of sesame oil with 1 teaspoon of Bishop’s weed oil. Heat this mixture and when it cools a bit, put between 4 or 5 drops of the mixture in your ear canal to relieve you of earaches.
- Use Tea Tree Oil
Just drop some tea tree oil in your ears to get rid of the earaches and infection. It has excellent antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.
- Make Use Of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
You can put some drops of ACV in your ears and leave it for at least 10 hours before you repeat the process. You will feel relieved in no time at all.
